I’m Kathy, a travel specialist and advisor who has spent over 15 years designing and leading trips for travelers who want extraordinary experiences. My clients come to me because they want a trip that is full of fun experiences, feels personally crafted and effortlessly executed.

My career began not in travel, but in food. After earning my culinary degree in Paris, I returned to the United States to work in pastry kitchens and teach cooking and pastry classes in Napa Valley. I used this knowledge to create culinary programming at COPIA, Napa’s celebrated center for wine, food, and the arts. This is where my love for both food & travel came together. I was in my element — but Europe kept calling my name.  So I listened.  I went back — this time to teach in culinary schools in the South of France and Italy, and to lead food, wine, and cultural tours throughout Western Europe.

Somewhere between a market in Provence and a vineyard in Tuscany, I discovered something that would shape everything I do for my clients today: I could see, with absolute clarity, what made a trip truly unforgettable — and what quietly undermined it.

That firsthand experience — years of watching what moved people, what delighted them, what left them breathless, and also what left them wishing for something more — is the foundation of every journey I design.
